Mental Wellness

Mental Health has become one of the most talked about health issues today; with global turbulence, uncertainty and pandemic challenges many of us feel less confident about life and our future.

But what is Mental Health? What does it actually mean? M.H. isn’t necessarily medically based. I describe Mental Health as our state of mind, i.e. our current thoughts and feelings. When our mind thinks positively, it will reward us with optimism, a sense of achievement and personal satisfaction. When our mind thinks negatively our thoughts and feelings can turn to uncertainty, fear and anxiety. Often this negative thinking strikes without warning and therefore can be difficult to understand why it is happening to us.

I help people, like you, resolve troubling issues so that they can maintain a positive and healthy mindset much more easily. This is managing our Mental Health; the result is Mental Wellness.

PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – the after shock- and how to get over it. Trauma comes in many different forms such as loss, abuse, bullying, physical injury, mental scaring, conflict and suffering.  In life shit happens! Regardless of how traumatic the event, what matters, is that the person recovers from it by releasing the Trauma, mentally and physically. Then their mind and body no longer carry the stressful memory. Using proven and tried techniques I have helped many clients recover from their Trauma so that their suffering becomes a thing of the past.

Dealing With Grief

Everyone experiences grief at some time in their lives. Grief can be the result of losing a loved one, death of a pet, going through redundancy, or in fact any big life change. Grief is a natural emotion and the grieving process a necessary and healing experience to go through. It can take time to complete and each person copes (or doesn’t cope) with grief differently. There is no right or wrong way to do it.

In truth, unless we understand how to process our own particular grief, the unreleased emotions within us build and build and will develop into other health or mental issues until we deal with it. Are you struggling to come to terms with something or someone you have lost? It may even have happened a long time ago’?

I offer a service which will help you understand and release the grief, so that you are free to get on with the rest of life with ease.

Health & Wellbeing

Have you ever wondered why some people enjoy better health than others? Is good health something we are born with, OR something we can create for ourselves? Is wellbeing about diet and exercise only, or does it need to include security, peace of mind and happiness also?

Being well is about knowing what inspires you, acting upon and enjoying it. This may include overcoming a particular illness, ailment or problem that has been holding you back.

I help my clients explore and identify what is holding them back and what needs to  change.

Relationship Challenges

Relationships fall into two categories, the one with others, and the one with ourselves. Sometimes it is easier to know how we feel about others than it is to know how we feel about ourselves. Possible reasons for this could include our particular upbringing, a fear of being seen as selfish or a fear of being judged as ‘not good enough’. When we do for others, at the expense of doing for ourselves, inner frustration becomes inevitable.

I help my clients have a better understanding and acceptance of themselves as well as others. This leads the way for a healthier mindset (Wellness) and resolved disputes and misunderstandings.
